Apple released its ARM architecture Macs in November 2020. They called their architecture “Apple Silicon”, we witnessed their First-Generation silicon “M1” in three new Products MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, MacMini.
The New Apple Silicons are the Future?
So far the New Apple Silicon Macs exceeded the expectations in both performance and Battery Life. Apple has announced the ‘M1’ processor and that is a new system on a chip that contains a CPU, GPU and then loads other interesting stuff like for example the Neural engine and then IO controllers and USB support and all that kind of stuff all built into one chip and it’s able to replace several chips that you would have found on a motherboard of a typical Mac Computers now it’s all been compressed down into one chip and it’s all designed itself by Apple.
Apple uses Rosetta to run Intel-Based Applications (x86 Apps) on its new M1 Macs. So far it’s pretty darn amazing how speed and performance it delivers while consuming less power.
These Macs are only gonna get improved in the Future. It’s so fascinating that even some of the native apps on Intel architecture performs almost 2x faster and efficient on the new M1 Macs via Emulation.
My favorite feature on the new Macs got to be the Instant Wake Up. With the Integration of MacOS Big Sur, the M1 Macs are easy to recommend for both Student and Professionals.
With the introduction of M1 and its performance charts, it’s fascinating to see what Apple can make in the Future Macs. Heck, it’s more powerful than their own $5000 machine in some cases. Can’t wait for the next generation Apple Silicon in the rest of their Lineups.
Which one to BUY?
Since all the three Macs are identical in their specifications which is the best for you ?
